The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced a two-day training program for its newly elected members of the House of Representatives of Nepal.
The training will be held in Kathmandu on Chaitra 3 and 4, aiming to orient the newly elected lawmakers on parliamentary procedures and the party’s policies.
According to party General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti, the program has been organized to clarify the responsibilities and parliamentary roles of the new lawmakers.
The party has instructed all newly elected lawmakers to arrive at the designated venue within the Kathmandu Valley by 9:00 AM on Chaitra 3, while the training program will formally begin at 10:00 AM the same day.
Experts are expected to provide guidance on how lawmakers can effectively represent the party in parliament and raise public issues.
The party considers this training program an important preparation for its parliamentary journey. General Secretary Burlakoti has urged all lawmakers to remain prepared according to the schedule and timing of the program.
In the election held on Falgun 21, the RSP secured 125 seats under the first-past-the-post system and 57 seats under the proportional representation system.
