The Nepal Tourism Board is set to operate a Tourist Information Center at Pokhara International Airport in coordination with the Civil Aviation Office and Tourist Police.
According to Maniraj Lamichhane, Chief of the Nepal Tourism Board’s Gandaki Province Office, the center will provide tourists arriving in Pokhara with information about tourism destinations across Pokhara as well as the entire Gandaki Province, and help facilitate their travel.
To assist tourists, the center will be staffed by personnel from the Tourism Board along with two Tourist Police officers. Pokhara, known as Nepal’s tourism capital, is a major attraction for both domestic and international visitors. It is believed that the operation of this center will greatly benefit tourists visiting the city.
