Ukraine has confirmed the support of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states against Iranian aggression. At the same time, Ukraine emphasized the urgent need to halt Iranian military actions against Gulf countries and to end all forms of attacks.
The support was confirmed during a phone conversation between Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and GCC Secretary-General Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi.
Meanwhile, the GCC states also praised Ukraine’s efforts to sponsor and support the historic United Nations Security Council resolution 2817 condemning Iranian aggression against the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The discussion also covered ways to strengthen GCC–Ukraine relations for shared interests.
