Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane, is scheduled to address the two-day residential orientation program for newly elected Members of Parliament today.
The program is being held at Hotel Royal Tulip in Gwarko. It was inaugurated on Tuesday by Vice Chairpersons Swarnim Wagle and DP Aryal.
On the first day, Chairman Lamichhane and senior leader Balen Shah were not present.
According to General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti, both Lamichhane and Balen Shah are expected to attend the closing session today, although the party has only officially confirmed Lamichhane’s participation in the schedule.
Following the Falgun 21 election, the Rastriya Swatantra Party secured a total of 182 seats—including both direct and proportional representation. The orientation program aims to prepare newly elected MPs with parliamentary procedures and conduct before the commencement of the parliamentary session.
