Gold and silver prices have dropped in the local market today.
The price of gold has decreased by Rs 2,200 per tola, while silver has fallen by Rs 185 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold (hallmarked gold) has been fixed at Rs 307,700 per tola today, while silver is being traded at Rs 5,150 per tola.
On Tuesday, fine gold was traded at Rs 309,900 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 5,335 per tola.
Similarly, on Monday, the price of fine gold was Rs 309,500 per tola, and silver was priced at Rs 5,265 per tola.
According to international media reports, gold is currently being traded at around $5,000 per ounce in the global market, while silver is priced at $82 per ounce.
