
The Nepali feature film “Janai Haraeko Manche: Sambandhaka Dhagaharu” moved most of its premiere audience to tears. The premiere was held on Wednesday at One Cinemas, New Baneshwor, where the emotional storyline deeply touched those in attendance.
Veteran actor Sunil Thapa, senior cinematographer Gauri Shankar Dhungju, comedian Jitu Nepal, poet and lyricist Biplav Pratik, actors Kamalmani Nepal and Lokendra Lekhak, actor Kiran Shrestha, scriptwriter Pradeep Bhardwaj, and many other renowned figures from the film industry were present at the screening.
Audiences and celebrities alike became emotionally attached to the story. Some, including actress Keki Adhikari and singer Anju Panta, were seen crying while watching the film. Many attendees left the hall wiping tears, saying the movie reminded them of their own families and touched them deeply.
The story nostalgically portrays family bonds, memories, and responsibilities among parents, children, and siblings. Viewers said they were especially moved by the depiction of parental sacrifices, responsibilities of children toward their parents, and the struggles that sometimes leave lives devastated.
The film highlights the importance of relationships, the struggles made to fulfill dreams, and family values in a touching way—leading audiences to describe it as a powerful emotional drama.
Set to release nationwide from tomorrow, the film stars Keki Adhikari, Vijay Baral, Miruna Magar, Sushank Mainali, Bhola Raj Sapkota, Gaurav Pahari, Riar Rai, Bhavana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, and Suman Thapa, among others.
This is actor Vijay Baral’s first major role of the year following his all-time blockbuster “Purnabahadurko Sarangi.”
Produced under the Paperclip banner by Kamal Nyaupane and Bimal Nyaupane, the film has Narayan Timilsina, Chudamani Sibakoti, R.K. Manandhar, C.R. Basnet, Philip D.C., and James Maharajan as executive producers. Music is composed by Thaneshwar Gautam, Arjun Pokharel, S.D. Yogi, and Prashant Sibakoti. Navin Gurung handled the DOP, while Krishna Pariyar led the cinematography.
The story, screenplay, and dialogues were written by Bhanubhakta Dhakal. Dinesh Bahadur Raut worked as chief assistant director, with Tarkaraj Nyaupane, Rabindra Nepal, Monika Thapa, and Akash K.C. as assistants. Laxman Raj Paudel is the production controller.
