Nepal’s stock market saw a strong rise on the last trading day of the week, with the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increasing by 64.67 points to close at 2,877.02 on Thursday.
All 13 sub-indices traded on the market recorded gains, reflecting broad-based investor confidence across sectors.
The highest turnover of the day was recorded by Nyadi Group Power, with transactions exceeding NPR 671.6 million.
Several companies hit the positive circuit limit, delivering the highest gains to investors. These include:
- Corporate Development Bank (10%)
- Salapa Bikas Bank (10%)
- Reliance Spinning Mills (10%)
- Solu Hydropower (9.99%)
- Hotel Forest Inn (9.96%)
In total, shares of 342 companies were traded, with over 56.9 million shares exchanged. The total daily turnover crossed NPR 21.22 billion, according to NEPSE.
The market’s strong upward movement across all sectors signals continued positive momentum among investors.
