A section of the Ruruvenni–Wamitaksar–Kharbang Road has been completely closed in the Khaireni Bazaar area of Gulmi.
According to the District Administration Office Gulmi, the road from Khaireni Bazaar to Bharse Chowk will remain closed from Thursday until Chaitra 19.
The closure has been enforced following a request from the Local Infrastructure Development Project Office, Rupandehi, as foundation excavation work is required at the Jumdi Bridge in Khaireni Bazaar under Satyawati Rural Municipality.
Acting Chief District Officer Hari Prasad Gaire stated that vehicular movement will be halted 24 hours a day along the stretch from Jumdi Bridge to Bharse Chowk.
The road has been closed to ensure that construction work is carried out safely, efficiently, and on time. Authorities have urged travelers to use an alternative route, which connects from Jumdi Bridge via Satyawati Secondary School – Angare Khola – Health Center to Bharse Chowk.
