A Nepali citizen has been detained by Iran in the Hormuz Region. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal, the arrested individual has been identified as Amrit Jha.
He was working on a ship in the Hormuz area when Iranian authorities took all crew members into custody, during which he was also detained.
The Ministry stated that it came to know about the incident after being informed by the family members of the detained individual.
