On Sunday, Nepal Rastra Bank announced that it will collect NPR 50 billion in deposits.
The central bank is set to absorb excess liquidity from banks and financial institutions through a bidding process for a 14-day period.
It has been stated that both the principal and interest will be paid on Chaitra 22, 2082 (Nepali calendar).
Only “Class A”, “Class B”, and “Class C” banks and financial institutions will be eligible to participate in the deposit collection bidding process.
