According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, hilly and mountainous regions, including Koshi Province, are experiencing generally cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country has partly cloudy skies.
Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning, along with snowfall, is occurring at one or two places in Koshi Province.
On Monday, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions, while the Terai region will see partly cloudy conditions.
There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Sudurpashchim Province, as well as at some other hilly and mountainous regions across the country.
The department has urged the general public and concerned authorities to stay updated with the latest weather information and take necessary precautions.
