On Monday, the price of gold fell by NPR 6,500 per tola. The previous day, it had dropped by NPR 12,500. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, gold was traded at NPR 275,500 per tola on Monday, down from NPR 282,000 the day before.
Over the past week, gold has lost NPR 34,000 per tola. Last Monday, it was traded at NPR 309,500 per tola, while on Magh 15, it had reached an all-time high of NPR 339,300 per tola.
Silver prices also fell on Monday, decreasing by NPR 115 per tola. Previously, silver was traded at NPR 4,540 per tola, dropping to NPR 4,425 per tola. Over the past week, silver has declined by NPR 840 per tola. Last Monday, silver traded at NPR 5,265 per tola, with the highest price recorded on Magh 15 at NPR 7,505 per tola.
