The Central Working Committee meeting of the Nepali Congress is set to continue today. Acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal informed that the meeting will begin at 11:00 AM at the party’s central office.
In today’s session, central committee members will continue to express their views on the agendas under discussion since Tuesday. During Tuesday’s meeting, party president Gagan Kumar Thapa had proposed holding the 15th general convention from Bhadra 24 to 26.
The meeting is discussing various issues including current political matters, good governance, formation of an expert committee for studying constitutional amendments, the schedule for the 15th general convention, and the formation of a central election committee.
Additionally, discussions are ongoing regarding orientation programs for House of Representatives members, distribution and updating of active memberships, review and coordination of provincial and local governments, strengthening effectiveness, matters related to sister organizations and well-wishers, formation of the central accounts committee, and other miscellaneous topics, according to Dulal.
