The Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of Karnali Province has directed local governments to submit details and reports related to martyr memorial and livelihood special allowances.
The Chief Minister’s Office has requested local units to send reports covering the period from Shrawan to Poush of the fiscal year 2082/83. These reports should include the distribution of martyr memorial allowances to the families of martyrs and the disappeared from armed conflict, people’s movements, and the provincial movement, as well as livelihood special allowances provided to injured and disabled individuals.
Additionally, local governments have been instructed to collect and verify applications of beneficiaries who will receive allowances from Magh to the end of Ashad, and submit their details accordingly.
According to Section Officer Laxmi Kandel, the directive follows the provisions outlined in the “Martyr Memorial Allowance Distribution Procedure 2081” and the “Livelihood Allowance Distribution Procedure for Injured and Disabled Persons 2081.” Local units must compile beneficiary details as per the specified formats and submit them to the office.
Kandel also informed that the report on allowances distributed from Shrawan to Poush must be submitted by Chaitra 15. Funds will be released by the office only after the reports are received.
