
The trailer of the upcoming film ‘Rimai’, directed by Khil Bahadur Gurung, has been released, showcasing village life, love, struggle, and social realities.
The trailer features Dayahang Rai in a rural setting, navigating conflicts between love and family obligations. The chemistry between Dayahang Rai and Rishma Gurung has been appreciated, while performances by Arpan Thapa and Gaumaya Gurung add further intrigue to the storyline.
Director Gurung has indicated through the trailer that the film explores the clash between tradition, culture, and modern lifestyles. Following the buzz created by the previously released posters and teaser, the trailer has also generated excitement among audiences.
Produced by Gorkha Siranchaok and Ligaligkot Films Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Rotepin Entertainment, the film stars Dayahang Rai, Arpan Thapa, Rishma Gurung, and Gaumaya Gurung, along with Kavita Ale Magar, Maotse Gurung, Pushkar Gurung, Veermaya Gurung, Veerval Ghale, Divi Gurung, Tek Gurung, and child actors Asim Subba, Prestu Gurung, and Prashna Rana Magar.
The screenplay is written by poet and director Upendra Subba, with cinematography by Shailendra Dhwaj Karki. Veerval Ghale serves as executive producer, while Tika Gurung, Jit Yatri Gurung, and Dun Bahadur Ghale are producers, with Binu Gurung, Roshan Bhattarai, and Rajesh Ghimire as co-producers.
The film features music by Deepak Sharma and Thaneswar Gautam, with Kiran Chamling Rai as chief assistant director, Bishnu Mainali as production manager, and editing by Mitra D Gurung.
‘Rimai’ is scheduled for release on Bhadra 20.
