
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has departed for Turkmenistan to participate in an international conference scheduled from August 5 to 8 (Shrawan 20 to 23). According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit is taking place at the invitation of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow and United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres.
He is accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya, Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Member of the Federal Parliament Surya Bahadur Thapa Chhetri, and other senior government officials.
During the event, Prime Minister Oli will address the conference in his capacity as the Chair of the Global Coordination Bureau of Least Developed Countries (LDCs). He is also scheduled to hold meetings with various world leaders, as well as senior officials from the United Nations and other international organizations.
Prime Minister Oli is expected to return to Nepal on August 8 (Shrawan 23).
