Nepal will take on Bangladesh today in the ongoing South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-17 Women’s Championship. According to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the match is scheduled to kick off at 2:45 PM (Nepali time).
Nepal enters the game under pressure, as it must secure a win to stay in contention. In their previous encounter on Sunday, Nepal suffered a 3–0 defeat against Bangladesh.
In the double round-robin league format, India currently leads the standings with 9 points, followed by Bangladesh with 6 points. Nepal is placed third with 3 points, while hosts Bhutan remain winless at the bottom of the table. Only four nations—India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan—are competing in the tournament.
As per the fixture, Nepal will play India on Bhadra 13 (August 29) and face Bhutan on Bhadra 15 (August 31).
