In the second match of the day, Nepal lost by 3 runs. Chasing a target of 161 runs, Nepal was bowled out for 157 in the final over. With 4 runs needed off the last ball, Nepal lost its final wicket, falling agonizingly short. Rupesh Singh top-scored with 37 runs, while Lokesh Bam added 32.
Earlier, South Australia had set a total of 160 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Ryan King made 39, while Daniel Drew and Harry Manenti contributed 29 runs each. For Nepal, Karan KC, Shahab Alam, and Rupesh Singh took two wickets apiece, while Kushal Bhurtel picked up one.
In the first match played earlier in the day, Nepal lost by 3 wickets. Nepal had set a target of 147, which South Australia chased down in 20 overs with seven wickets down. Winter top-scored with 36 runs, followed by Hogben-Boizim with 28, captain Harvey with 27, Drew with 24, and Manenti with 22.
