Four teenagers went missing after drowning in the Khutiya River in Kailali today.
According to the District Police Office, the incident occurred near the suspension bridge at Sehari, Godavari Municipality–9, while the boys were swimming.
The missing teenagers have been identified as 17-year-old Jabez Bhandari, 15-year-old Pratik Chaudhary, 17-year-old Sakshyam Joshi, and 15-year-old Jeb Bhandari.
District Police Office spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajkumar Singh said the boys went missing around 2 p.m. while bathing in the river. He added that search operations are currently underway.
