The press conference called by Dr. Lekhjung Thapa, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate for the Rupandehi-3 by-election, has been postponed.
The event was scheduled for 2 PM at the party’s central office in Banasthali. Party spokesperson Manish Jha informed that the press meet and interaction program was postponed due to special reasons.
RSP had announced Thapa as its candidate yesterday, selecting him from among nine aspirants. However, reports suggest the press conference was called off after Thapa became entangled in a polygamy controversy.
