A body has been recovered from the residence of Ganga Dahal, daughter of CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, in Dhobighat, Lalitpur.
According to SSP Shyam Krishna Adhikari of the Lalitpur District Police Office, the house was set on fire during Tuesday’s protest. One male body was found charred in the blaze.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed. A police team has been mobilized to conduct identification procedures.
