Various groups claiming to represent the Gen Z generation began arguing in front of the military headquarters and the army cantonment today.
As talks were set to begin to appoint former Chief Justice Sushila Karki as the head of an interim government, these groups insisted that their own nominated representatives, rather than Karki, should be appointed. The groups repeatedly demanded that their chosen individuals lead the government, with many mentioning Dharan Sub-Metropolitan Mayor Harka Sampang.
The groups also expressed anger toward Indian media personnel present to cover the event. The army has been trying to disperse those arguing at the gate.
