
The death toll from the ongoing Gen-Z movement has reached 36, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Ministry spokesperson Dr. Prakash Budhathoki said that six people died while receiving treatment at Civil Hospital in Kathmandu, eight at the National Trauma Center, five at Bheri Hospital, three each at Everest Hospital and Frontline Hospital, and two at KMC Hospital.
Similarly, two deaths were reported at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, two at Bayodha Hospital, two at Ramechhap Hospital, one at BNC Hospital, one at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, and one at Ilam Hospital.
“A total of 1,368 people have been treated in various hospitals. So far, 1,379 people have been discharged, while 72 injured patients have been referred to other hospitals,” Dr. Budhathoki added.
