
The Federal Parliament Secretariat has requested the return of items taken from the Parliament building during the Gen-Z youth protests on Bhadra 24.
On Monday, the Secretariat’s Internal Services and Planning Division issued a notice stating that printers, scanners, cameras, televisions, monitors, microphones, mixers, speakers, photocopy machines, and other electronic equipment were reportedly taken by unauthorized individuals. The Secretariat has urged that these items be returned.
The notice, issued by Deputy Secretary Adhi Raj Rai of the Planning Division, also asks anyone with information about the location of these items or the individuals involved to inform the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
Additionally, anyone who has videos showing the removal of these items is requested to provide them. The Secretariat assured that the identity of informants will be kept confidential.
During the Gen-Z protest on Bhadra 24, vehicles and property within the Parliament building and its premises in New Baneshwor were reportedly vandalized, set on fire, and looted.
