On Monday, three newly appointed ministers took the oath of office and secrecy at a ceremony held at Shital Niwas. President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath.
Prime Minister Sushila Karki had appointed Rameshwar Khanal as Finance Minister, Om Prakash Aryal as Home Minister, and Kulman Ghising as Energy Minister on Sunday.
Aryal has also been entrusted with the Ministry of Law in addition to Home Affairs, while Ghising will oversee the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development along with Energy.
Following the oath, the ministers are set to assume their responsibilities from today. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Karki, Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, National Assembly Chairman Narayan Dahal, former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut, and other distinguished guests.
