Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called the first meeting of the Council of Ministers today, immediately after appointing three new ministers.
The meeting is scheduled to be held at 4 PM at Singha Durbar. Ahead of the session, the ministers and their respective secretaries will conduct internal preparations on the agenda items.
Earlier today, in a ceremony at Shital Niwas, President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of office to the newly appointed ministers—Rameshwar Khanal, Om Prakash Aryal, and Kulman Ghising.
Khanal has been given responsibility for Finance, Aryal for Home Affairs along with Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, while Ghising has been entrusted with Energy, Urban Development, and Physical Infrastructure.
