The ‘NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025’, Nepal’s biggest automobile exhibition organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), officially began today at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The event was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel.
More than 50 automobile brands are participating in the expo, where 35 new vehicle models are set to be unveiled — including 15 two-wheelers, 15 four-wheelers, and 5 commercial vehicles, according to NAIMA. In addition to the exhibition, the organizers have launched a special online competition targeting the event.
Participants who upload creative videos related to the NAIMA Auto Expo on social media by today will compete for a top prize of NPR 100,000. Furthermore, ten outstanding videos uploaded between Shrawan 21 and 25 will each receive a cash prize of NPR 10,000.
The expo showcases electric, fuel-powered, and hybrid vehicles; however, auto parts will not be displayed. Organizers expect between 70,000 to 80,000 visitors during the course of the event.
