Two people were killed and 22 others injured when a bus collided with a stationary truck at Pulchowk in Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality–3, Sunsari, today.
According to police, a passenger bus (Province 1-02-002 Kha 0949) traveling eastward along the East-West Highway rammed into a broken-down truck (Na 6 Kha 3733) that had been parked on the roadside.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Yogaraj Khatri of Sunsari informed that the identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed. One person died during treatment at District Hospital Inaruwa, while another passed away at Global Cardio and Neuro Hospital in Bhokraha.
