
Road traffic has been disrupted in seven different locations across the country today, according to Nepal Police.
- Jajarkot–Dolpa Section: The road is completely blocked after a dry landslide of rocks and soil fell this morning at Bhirkuna in Nalgad Municipality–11, Jajarkot.
- Myagdi Beni–Darbang Section: Another major blockage occurred at Ghumaune Cliff in Beni Municipality–4 at 5:25 a.m. when mud and debris from a landslide obstructed the road.
- Chitwan Mugling–Narayangadh Section: The road remains closed for the second consecutive day after repeated dry landslides at Tui Khola in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality–5 since 6:25 p.m. on October 3. Continuous landslides are hampering clearance work.
- Rasuwa Border (Nepal–China): Flood damage to the Miteri Bridge connecting Nepal and China has disrupted cross-border transportation. Ongoing flooding continues to worsen the situation.
- Rukum West (Bheri Corridor): A section of the Jajarkot–Dolpa road in Aathbiskot Municipality–6 remains obstructed.
- Sindhupalchok Kodari (Araniko Highway): A landslide in Bhote Koshi has completely blocked the highway.
Additionally, due to active monsoon conditions, the BP Highway will remain closed to public transport during nighttime hours as a safety measure. From 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., all public vehicles are barred from operating until further notice, though private vehicles are allowed to travel.
