The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that the influence of the monsoon is currently weak, with partial impact of local winds. Today, skies will remain generally cloudy over the hilly regions of Koshi Province and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.
There is a chance of moderate rainfall at a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Lumbini, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, as well as at one or two locations in the hills and plains of Madhesh Province and other regions. Likewise, heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati Provinces.
The department has urged the public and concerned authorities to stay updated with the latest weather information, as heavy rain is expected in one or two locations of the hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati Provinces within the next 24 hours.
