
With the major Nepali festival Dashain approaching, Sajha Yatayat Cooperative Limited has launched a special bus service to facilitate passengers’ travel.
The service has been started targeting passengers returning home or traveling out of town during the festival season. According to a notice issued by the organization, the bus service to Narayangadh will operate from Ashoj 7 until Kojagrat Purnima. This is expected to provide significant relief, especially for those traveling to Narayangadh and nearby areas.
Sajha Yatayat has initiated this service with the aim of providing passengers an affordable and reliable travel option. Under this arrangement, buses will depart from Kalanki Bus Park starting at 7 a.m., with hourly departures.
The service will run at 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 12 p.m. Passengers are required to pay a one-way fare of NPR 300 and must obtain a ticket from Sajha Yatayat.
The management has emphasized that passengers must remain seated and are not allowed to stand or sit in the aisle. Travelers without tickets will face penalties as per prevailing law.
