Senior advocate Dr. Surendra Bhandari, known for his anti-corruption campaign “Nepal ka Lagi Nepali,” is set to launch a new political party.
According to Dr. Bhandari, the party, named Nepal Citizen Party, will submit its registration application to the Election Commission on Thursday. The central committee of the party is expected to consist of 41 to 51 members.
Key members of the party will include Amrit Kharel, Dr. Daman Dhwaj Saud, Lelin Bista, Dr. Kamal Kiran Kutuwal, Dr. Mahendra Jung Shah, Nur Mohammad Mia, Dr. Sanjay Khatiwada, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Nyaupane, Rajesh Kafle, among others.
