The Central Committee meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre) is set to take place today (Thursday) at 11:00 AM at Pragya Bhawan.
On Wednesday, the party’s Standing Committee met at the central office in Paris Danda to finalize the agenda for today’s session. Party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will present the political report, which will be followed by extensive discussions on several key issues.
The meeting is expected to deliberate on:
- Various proposals and policy discussions
- Preparations for the upcoming general elections on Falgun 21 (early March 2026)
- Party unification and political polarization
- Matters related to relief and reconstruction
- Strategies for mass mobilization and public outreach
Additionally, the agenda includes a tribute program to honor those who lost their lives during the recent “Gen Z” protests.
