Energy Minister Kulman Ghising has objected to information and reports circulating on social media and various media outlets linking his name with the Ujyaalo Nepal Party and its chairman.
In a statement issued through social media, Ghising clarified that he has no involvement with the party.
“There has been no discussion regarding my affiliation with the party as mentioned in the news and information,” he said. “I also want to make it clear that I did not participate in any Zoom meeting, as has been publicized.”
He further accused certain individuals of deliberately spreading false and baseless information to link him with the party without his knowledge or consultation, calling it a move driven by “malicious intent.”
“Without any discussion or consultation with me, false and baseless content has been spread with ill intent, and I strongly refute such claims,” he stated, urging the public not to fall for such misinformation.
Minister Ghising also drew the attention of concerned parties not to engage in such unfounded propaganda in the future.
