
A landslide near Fisling, Chitwan has completely blocked the Prithvi Highway, halting all traffic movement.
According to police, the landslide, which included large rocks, fell close to Fisling, cutting off the vital highway connection.
Efforts to clear the debris have already begun, but authorities estimate it may take 3 to 4 hours to reopen the road. Excavators from Kurintar have been deployed to remove the landslide.
With the highway closed, passengers traveling to and from Kathmandu have been left stranded along the route.
