According to the Flood Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, 10 rainfall stations nationwide have recorded water levels beyond the danger threshold.
Stations located in Bara, Parsa, and Rautahat measured extremely heavy rainfall, the department confirmed.
Several monitoring stations in Bagmati, Madhesh, and Koshi Provinces are also nearing the danger level.
Authorities have warned that continued rainfall in these areas could push water levels further beyond the threshold and have urged residents to exercise extreme caution.
