The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that the western parts of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, as well as some western areas of Gandaki Province, are currently affected by westerly winds. Meanwhile, the influence of monsoon and local winds remains weak over the rest of the country.
During the daytime, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas, including Koshi Province, while most other regions are expected to have mainly clear skies. There is a chance of light rain at one or two places in the hilly regions.
According to the department, tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, while the rest of the country will experience mostly clear conditions. A slight chance of light rain persists in one or two locations within these hilly regions.
