CPN-UML Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed that the House of Representatives should be reinstated, stating that his party stands in favor of it.
Speaking at a program organized by the UML Bhaktapur District Committee in Gundu on Thursday, Oli said he believes the Nepali Congress will also agree on reinstating the House.
He further remarked that if the government intends to hold elections, it must first gain the trust of all political parties and ensure everyone’s participation in the process.
“At this time, the nation needs unity and stability,” Oli said. “Democratic forces should come together to maintain peace and order and work toward the country’s prosperity. The government must create a positive and conducive environment for this.”
