The Nepali Congress office-bearers’ meeting is also being held today. Party spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat informed that the meeting will start at 1 PM at the party’s central office in Sanepa.
The meeting, which began on Thursday, is continuing today as part of an ongoing discussion. During Thursday’s session, office-bearers and former office-bearers presented their views on whether to hold a special general convention or a regular general convention, according to spokesperson Mahat.
He further stated that today’s meeting will continue with the presentation of views from other members and will also finalize the agenda for the Central Committee meeting scheduled to begin on Ashoj 26.
Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba is not attending the meeting, which is being chaired by Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka.
