The Tamghas–Simichaur–Rangbas–Khajryang road in Gulmi will be closed for one month due to road upgrading works.
The work began today on the section from Maidaan, Resunga Municipality–10 to Jan Pravis, Ward No. 11.
According to a public notice issued by the Road Infrastructure Development Office, the road will remain fully closed from Ashoj 24 to Kartik 23.
During this period, alternative routes have been suggested:
- Vehicles traveling from Rangbas to Fedi should use the Maidaan–Harrabot–Sapaundi–Rangbas Fedi road.
- Vehicles heading towards Ridi–Palpa or Arghakhanchi should use Ghumti–Charpala–Khajryang or Tamghas–Bletexar–Ridi alternative roads.
Deepak Khadka, head of the office, stated that the road has been temporarily closed to ensure the safety of passengers and drivers during construction. He added that the work will be completed within the scheduled period and the road will be reopened promptly.
