
The Super Six lineup has been finalized in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia and East Asia–Pacific (EAP) Regional Qualifiers being held in Oman.
Following the completion of the group stage last night, six out of nine participating nations have advanced to the Super Six round. Host Oman, Nepal, and UAE qualified as group winners, each securing two points, while Qatar, Japan, and Samoa entered the Super Six as group runners-up.
Meanwhile, Malaysia (from Group A), Kuwait (from Group B), and Papua New Guinea (PNG) (from Group C) have been eliminated from the tournament.
The Super Six stage will begin on Sunday.
- Nepal will face UAE on Sunday,
- Qatar on Monday,
- Oman on Wednesday, and
- Samoa on Friday.
The top teams from the Super Six stage will move one step closer to securing a spot in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
