
Nepal will take on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today in the Super Six stage of the ICC T20 World Cup Asia and East Asia-Pacific Qualifier.
The match will be played at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman, starting at 4:15 PM Nepal time.
Nepal advanced to the Super Six as the winner of Group ‘B’, while UAE qualified as the winner of Group ‘A’. Both teams will begin the Super Six stage with two points each.
Nepal entered the Super Six after strong performances in the group stage—defeating Kuwait by 58 runs in their first match and beating Japan by five wickets in the second.
Meanwhile, UAE progressed as Group ‘A’ winners, defeating Qatar by seven wickets in their opening match and overcoming Malaysia by six wickets in the second.
In the Super Six points table, Oman, Nepal, and UAE each have two points, but Nepal is ahead of UAE based on net run rate. Host nation Oman currently leads the table with the best net run rate among the teams.
