Following the Janaji (Youth) movement, CPN (UML) Dang is set to organize its first awareness rally in Ghorahi on Sunday. The District Administration Office, Dang, has granted permission for the event.
The party stated that the rally aims to raise public awareness against criminal activities such as arson, vandalism, and looting targeting public property, offices, private residences, and businesses.
Manohar Budhathoki, coordinator of the CPN (UML) Dang mass organizations coordination committee, said the rally is intended to alert citizens against the rising risk of anarchy and political instability in the country.
“We are organizing this awareness rally as part of a campaign to protect the rule of law, implement the constitution, safeguard national interests, and mobilize public participation against anarchy,” Budhathoki stated. “The rally will be peaceful, and local authorities have provided approval for the event.”
The rally will gather at Traffic Chowk, Ghorahi, and conclude at Tulshipur Chowk.
Meanwhile, SP Dipak Shrestha, Chief of the District Police Office, Dang, confirmed that the local administration and security forces will ensure peace and security during the rally, with personnel deployed along the route to maintain a safe environment.
