Doctors have advised President Ramchandra Paudel to take complete rest for a few days. Although he was discharged on Sunday from the Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center in Maharajgunj after receiving treatment for health complications, he will not be attending any public programs for the time being, as per medical advice.
According to the Office of the President, the scheduled meeting with representatives of the ‘Gen-Z’ movement has been postponed following the doctors’ recommendation. The meeting was planned to discuss issues related to the expansion of the interim government’s cabinet and the unfulfilled demands of the Gen-Z group.
The discussion was originally scheduled for last Saturday but had been postponed due to the President’s sudden health problems. It was then rescheduled for today; however, considering his current health condition, the program has been deferred once again.
