The CPN (UML) central committee meeting is continuing today (Thursday) at the Rambagh Mahal Party Palace in Dhobighat, Lalitpur, starting at 8:00 AM.
Party members are presenting their views on the political report submitted by Chairman KP Sharma Oli. On Wednesday, around 50 central members had expressed their opinions. The meeting, which will run until Friday, has allotted three minutes for each member to speak. After the central members finish their remarks, the office bearers are also scheduled to present their views.
The ongoing meeting is expected to finalize the date for the party’s 11th General Convention. Chairman Oli has proposed holding the convention in Pokhara on Mangsir 27, 28, and 29. The UML is preparing to organize the convention a year earlier than originally planned.
