The International Panchang Decision Committee has released the auspicious time (Shubh Sait) for Bhai Tika during this year’s Tihar (Deepawali) festival, 2082 B.S.
According to a press statement issued by Committee Chairperson Prof. Dr. Madhav Bhattarai and Member-Secretary Acharya Laxman Panthi, the auspicious time for Bhai Tika in Kathmandu has been set for 11:39 AM on Kartik 6 (corresponding to October 23, 2025).
Prof. Bhattarai further informed that the auspicious time for Bhai Tika in countries such as India, the United States, Europe, Australia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the UAE, and Qatar will fall between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM (local time).
The committee has recommended that this period be considered the most favorable time for the Tika ceremony, while also noting that people may perform it at a convenient time based on their local circumstances, according to Member-Secretary Panthi.
