The Government of Nepal has awarded retired Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Krishna Bahadur Rana with a Lifetime Achievement Award on the occasion of the 70th Police Day today, Friday.
The Nepal Police Headquarters noted that Rana efficiently handled challenging assignments throughout his service career.
In a special ceremony held at the Police Headquarters, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal presented the award to Rana.
Rana joined the police service as an Inspector in 2035 BS (1978/79 AD) and retired mandatory in 2065 BS (2008/09 AD) from the position of DIG. Born in 2011 BS in Ghorahi, Dang, he resides in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, and completed his Bachelor’s degree from Patan Campus.
Promoted to DIG in 2063 BS (2006 AD), Rana received several honors, including the Police Service Medal and the prestigious Trishakti Patta.
