A cargo aircraft skidded off the runway and plunged into the sea at Hong Kong International Airport. According to local media reports, the incident occurred at 3:40 AM local time on Monday, when the plane collided with a ground vehicle before sliding into the sea.
The vehicle also fell into the water along with the aircraft. Two ground staff members were killed in the accident, while all four crew members on board survived and have been transported to a hospital for treatment.
Further details about the cause of the crash are yet to be made public, and an investigation is underway.
