Nepal Tarun Dal, the youth wing of the Nepali Congress, will celebrate its 73rd Establishment Day on Kartik 10, 2082.
According to Tarun Dal President Bidhwan Gurung, circulars have been issued instructing all districts except the three districts of Kathmandu Valley to organize greeting exchanges and tea reception programs at the district level to mark the occasion.
President Gurung informed that the three district committees inside the Kathmandu Valley will participate in the central-level program organized by the Tarun Dal Central Committee at the Nepali Congress Party Office in Sanepa. He added that this year the organization will celebrate the day in a new style both at the central and district levels. Although the central chairman will give a welcome address, Gurung said the event will not include garland exchange or lengthy speeches.
Chief Secretary of Tarun Dal, Than Prasad Pokharel, stated that the program will be attended by Acting President of Nepali Congress Purna Bahadur Khadka, party office bearers, central members, federal parliamentarians, National Assembly members, provincial committee representatives, party mayors, deputy mayors, and elected representatives including central members of Tarun Dal. He added that chiefs of sister organizations of other political parties will also be invited to the central event, and district-level programs will follow the same format.
