Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah launched a sharp attack on leaders of the country’s main political parties, criticizing their double standards and accusing them of ruining the nation.
Speaking today about the Gen Z movement, Mayor Balen accused that the whole country was set ablaze during the protests by the UML and the Congress, and that they in turn blamed the children for the blame.
Mayor Balen said, “Those leaders who build rope and wooden bridges say this country was ruined by foreigners. To get a visa you must sweep their homes, yet you call others agents! During the protests the whole country—UML burns Congress, Congress burns UML—and you pin the blame on your own children! At tea-time you drink blood and call others Lucifer! Aren’t you ashamed?”
